BERKELEY – The California women's basketball team (6-1) will take on the SMU Mustangs to conclude the 2nd Annual Raising The B.A.R. Invitational on Sunday at Haas Pavilion.
 
Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and the game can be viewed on the Cal Live Stream.

Sunday's meeting against SMU will be the third all-time meeting between the two programs with the Mustangs holding a 2-0 series lead. The two teams last met on Dec. 28, 1993 in a 81-76 SMU win. At the conclusion of the invitational on Dec. 4, an All-Tournament team comprised of an MVP and five players will be announced as selected by the four head coaches. 

This game will be dedicated to supporting the efforts to bring Brittney Griner home. All players will be wearing WeAreBG shirts and a writing station will be set up inside the arena to let fans write letters of support that will be sent to her team, which has set a goal of getting 10,000 letters of support.
 
GAME INFORMATION QUICK HITS
  • In the 84-51 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff:
    • Four Bears scored in double figures led by Curry who registered her first career double-double with 19 points, including three 3-pointers, a career-high 10 rebounds and a career-high tying seven assists. The 10 rebounds were an individual season-high for the Bears.
    • Three other Cal players finished in double-figures led by Jadyn Bush with a season-high 15 points (11 of which came in the second half) and followed by Evelien Lutje Schipholt and Leilani McIntosh with 12 and 11 points respectively.
    • Of Lutje Schipholt's eight rebounds, six came on the offensive end.
    • Cal totaled season-highs of 20 assists and 21 offensive rebounds that led to 24 second-chance points.
    • Cal held its opponent to 51 points or less for the third straight game.
  • With three 3-pointers against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Curry kept her streak of consecutive regular season games with at least one 3-pointer going at 29 games. Her streak is the longest among all active Pac-12 players and is the sixth longest streak of any Pac-12 player since the 1999-00 season.
  • Evelien Lutje Schipholt has been a steady rock for the team so far as one of the team leaders in rebounding at 5.5 boards per game and ranking third in scoring at 11.0 points per game, which is a career-high and the first season she is averaging double-digit scoring. 20 of her 41 rebounds this season have come on the offensive end which ranks 16th in the Pac-12.
  • Kemery Martín had a monster weekend at the LMU Thanksgiving Classic. She averaged 17.0 ppg on 60 percent shooting and had seven 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting, while averaging seven rebounds. She has now had at least three 3-pointers in three of the past five games.
  • The Bears' bench has been a solid contributing factor this season accounting for 35.1 percent of the team's scoring to date. Cal's bench has outscored its opponents in all but one game this season.
  • Cal's offense is coming from multiple sources this season with three Bears averaging double-figure scoring: Curry - 13.9, Lutje Schipholt - 11.0, Martín - 10.6. This is a marked improvement over last season when Curry was the lone Bear to average double-figures. 
  • Curry is currently on the Naismith Trophy Women's Watch List which represents the top 50 players in the country.
