Cal senior Briana Thai qualified for the NCAA Championships in all three diving events after an impressive performance at the Zone E qualifying meet in Flagstaff, Arizona, this week. She'll join 12 Golden Bear swimmers at the national championships, which will be contested next week in Greensboro, North Carolina.
 
On Wednesday, Thai placed sixth on platform at Zones, shooting up the leaderboard during the finals after finishing 11th in qualifying. Earlier in the competition, She was 10th on the 1-meter springboard and ninth on the 3-meter board.
 
Thai is coming off an outstanding Pac-12 Championships, as well, where she finished among the top five the three events, including a third-place result on 1-meter.
 
Thai also qualified for the 2020 NCAA meet on 3-meter, so this will make her first trip to the national championships after last year's was canceled due to the coronavirus.
