Cal closes the 2016 regular season Saturday by hosting UCLA. The Golden Bears have defeated the Bruins in seven of their eight meetings in Berkeley since 2000.

All-American candidate Chad Hansen, who was an ESPN and Sports Illustrated midseason All-American, leads the Pac-12 and is among the nation's leaders in receptions per game (9.1, No. 3), receiving yards per game (121.4 ypg, No. 6), receptions (82, No. 6), and receiving yards (1093, No. 15). He is also fourth in the Pac-12 and tied for 12th nationally in touchdown receptions (11).

Freshman All-American candidate Demetris Robertson leads or co-leads all Pac-12 freshmen while ranking among the nation's top rookies in touchdown receptions (7, No. T1), receiving yards per game (69.2, No. 2), receiving yards (761, No. 2), receptions (49, No. T4), receptions per game (4.5, No. 6) and yards per reception (15.5, No. 5) and receptions per game (4.5, No. 6). He ranks second on the team behind Hansen in all receiving categories. He is also tied for fourth nationally with five receptions of 50 or more yards.

All-American candidate Davis Webb leads the country in passing attempts (572) while pacing the Pac-12 and ranking second nationally with 3,994 passing yards and 604 total plays. He is also second in the conference and third nationally in completions (350) as well as third in the Pac-12 and tied for fourth nationally in touchdown passes (35). Last Saturday against Stanford, Webb set school single-season records for completions, passing attempts and total plays, surpassing Jared Goff's records from 2015 in completions and 2013 in passing attempts and total plays.

Saturday's game will mark the final contest at Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium for 16 Cal players with the list scheduled to be honored in a pregame ceremony including Antoine Albert, Noah Beito, Chris Borrayo, Franklyn Cervenka, Dominic Granado, Marcus Manley, Steven Moore, Khalfani Muhammad, Bradley Northnagel, Benji Palu, Bug Rivera, Khari Vanderbilt, Cameron Walker, Davis Webb, DeVante Wilson and Patrick Worstell. Moore, Northnagel and Worstell are fifth-year seniors who have been with the program since 2012.

Each of Cal's last four opponents are currently ranked and each of the last three (Washington, Washington, Stanford) were ranked at the time Cal faced them to tie a school record for most consecutive games against ranked opponents. Cal has played five ranked teams in 2016 to fall one shy of the school-record six in 1986, knocking off Texas and Utah in its first two games against ranked teams. USC wasn't ranked when the Trojans faced Cal, but they have soared to No. 12 in both the current AP Top 25 and Amway Coaches Poll with the next College Football Rankings to be released the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 22.

Saturdfay's contest is the Joe Roth Memorial Game, as is the tradition whenever UCLA or USC visits Cal. Roth was the Cal quarterback from 1975-76, leading the Bears to a co-Pac-8 championship in 1975 behind a memorable victory over then-No. 4 USC, 28-14. Shortly after graduating from Cal, Roth passed away from cancer on Feb. 19, 1977. Roth's No. 12 jersey is retired.
